“Don’t Think They Know” is the second single and video from Chris Brown’s highly anticipated new album, “X,” due out later this summer on RCA Records. The song is the follow-up to his previously released single “Fine China.”
“‘Don’t Think They Know’ is all about unity,” Brown said. “It’s bringing people together to do the right thing despite the negativity in the world today.”
For the video Brown filmed in two of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
Brown adds, “I was joined by a group of kids to show that anyone can put aside their differences to work together as a positive force to combat the hate and destruction we see every day. If we join forces, anything is possible.”
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Brown discussed the new album, saying, “For this album you get a chance to take a journey with me and listen to every dynamic of who I am, whether it be the subject matter or the substance in the records.”
Brown also has his own label CBE Music and publishing company, Culture Beyond Ur Experience. He also continues to support long-term partnerships with charities including Best Buddies International, Jenesse Center Domestic Violence Intervention Program and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Brown recently took his philanthropy a step further, launching his Symphonic Love Foundation to inspire his fans and to give back to communities in the two focus areas of “art” and “love.”
