Charlotte, NC artist Deniro Farrar uses real life stories to connect with fans and put his local rap scene on the map. Deniro recently signing with VICE Records/Warner Bros. Records, and the eclectic MC is preparing his next project “Cliff Of Death 2,” the follow-up to last year’s collaboration with Seattle production duo Blue Sky Black Death.
In part 1 of his Young G’z feature, Deniro tells MechanicalDummy.com about his creative process and the love he gets from fans.
In part 2, Deniro discusses the progression of his career and the evolution of his sound, which he calls “Cult Rap,” music that is discovered by fans organically, not via mass media.
In Part 3, Deniro reveals his main motivation, his little brother who is currently incarcerated. “Everything I do is motivated by what he’s going through,” says Deniro.
