Dodging your friends and even your ex-boyfriends/girlfriends just got easier. After running into his girlfriend numerous of times, Chris Baker created the app Cloak. It allows users to map out the positions of people they know based on their most recent social media posts so you can avoid seeing them. It works by pulling in the location check-ins from your contacts Instagram and Foursquare accounts and will tell you how close you are to that individual based on that posting. The app also allows users to set up push alerts.
Cloak is currently available for free through the app store for iPhone users. Currently the app only works on Foursquare and Instagram, but has high hopes of using Facebook in the near future. Twitter will come along eventually.
