Another messaging app hits the App Store for users but the difference about FireChat from the rest – it doesn’t require service or Internet access to use. FireChat is able to do this by taking advantage of the Multipeer Connectivity Framework in iOS 7, which allows developers to connect devices to each other using Bluetooth, WiFi, and peer-to-peer connections. However users must be within 100 feet (works better at 30ft) of each other in order to use the app. Although you can chat to people outside of that radius, the connection is not as strong. Users can send messages and photos using the app.
