Artist Spotlight: Molia

At the age of 12, young San Jose, CA based artist Molia (real name Brittney Molia Schwenke) discovered that she had a talent and a passion for music. Growing up in church, she was no stranger to singing and performing. At the age 15, she recorded her first song and the rest was history. At 17, she moved to Virginia for a year to pursue her professional career. During that time, Molia met with multiple record labels and gained a lot of connections in the industry, including working closely with the team of R&B superstar, Chris Brown. Although the record labels didn’t work out, this only fueled her passion even more to pursue her own career. After moving back to the Bay Area, Molia began building her own sound and working with many artists, which continues to build a buzz for her name. In Summer of 2014, she released her debut single ‘Too Late’ produced by the Bay Area’s own Dreem Teem & Kevin Armani. Her latest (most popular) single ‘Does It Matter’ produced by Dreem Teem’s Cisco Cortez, has gone crazy! With over 100,000 plays within a months time, Molia’s fan base has grown dramatically. Not to mention, both single’s have been featured on numerous popular music blogs including Rnbass, Young California, and Fader.
