Gucci 2016 Resort Collection

Following his surprise Creative Director appointment back in January, Alessandro Michele presented his second menswear collection for Gucci during an exclusive show in New York City last night. Michele sent a colorful and eccentric, ’60s and 70′s inspired collection down the runway that included everything from pom-pom hats and patch-laden blazers to floral and plaid print outerwear. The whimsical, experimental nature suggests this is truly a changing of tides for Gucci, which spent 10 years under the helm of Frida Giannini before her quick exit last December.
