Audemars Piguet Is Auctioning off One-Of-One Royal Oak for Clean Water

Audemars Piguet‘s latest Royal Oak watch is being auctioned off for a good cause. Made in partnership with Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté’s One Drop foundation, the one-off 41mm Royal Oak Chrono watch (ref. 26331) is defined by a Grande Tapisserie plum-purple dial with blue subdials and a blue ring track.

The entire case and bracelet are made from 950 platinum, where the case back has the words “UNIQUE PIECE” engraved under the Royal Oak branding. While the estimated price of $112,000 USD is substantially higher than the normal stainless steel version ($24,300 USD) and rose gold version ($56,600 USD), the proceeds are going to a great cause for improving access to safe water, and living conditions around the world.

The watch is set to go on auction on March 8 at the One Night One Drop charity event in Las Vegas.
