Hip Hop Has Entered The 2020 Presidential Campaign in The Form of Candidate Deon D. Jenkins

“Hip Hop is life, power, and expression. Hip Hop transcends race, class and cultures. It has been the voice for those who have been marginalized and oppressed. It has also been a vehicle for economic self-sufficiency and collective survival. The Hip Hop culture has entered the 2020 presidential race. Democratic presidential candidate Deon D. Jenkins is a candidate for the people. His slogan is “Hip Hop For President.” He is an activist, entrepreneur and a talented music artist. As a Hip Hop artist Deon D. Jenkins uses his art as a vehicle to articulate his political and social messages. He is in the trenches daily. He brings a level of authentic representation of poor/working class citizens that is lacking in the race currently, “The people are tired of out of touch millionaires representing them. I am the only candidate who has a plan that will eliminate the racial wealth gap,” states Mr. Jenkins. The focus of his platform is a reparations package for foundational Black Americans called DEFENSE. MONEY. LAND. GRANTS.

Deon D. Jenkins feels that his honesty, integrity, dignity, respect, humility, and goodwill set him apart from the other presidential candidates. Although he knows it’s an uphill battle, Deon D. Jenkins is in it to win it. The word is spreading about his presidential candidacy. Mr. Jenkins is incredibly smart and fiercely courageous. Deon D. Jenkins is actually the first candidate to bring up the issue of reparations for Black Americans on a presidential level. He first ran for president in 2016 and the issue of reparations was his focus then as it is now. Mr. Jenkins is on a mission to dismantle the American racial caste system. “There is an invisible ‘CASTE SYSTEM’ in America designed to keep the rich getting rich, the middle class just getting by, and the poor destitute. Everything is by design from the ghettos to the suburbs. My DEFENSE. MONEY. LAND. GRANTS. program will set things straight and grant true access to resources to Black American descendants of American slavery,” raves the presidential candidate. Moreover, he wants to impose a reparation tax on the wealthiest 1% of Americans.

Equally important, Mr. Jenkins feels that this is his calling in life. As a foundational Black American himself he believes that the fight for reparations is one of the main objectives for Black Americans as a whole. Reparations are defined as the making of amends for an injustice one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged. It is an exclusive compensation to that particular victimized group. Reparations are not handouts. They are paying debts. The American government-sanctioned slavery, redlining, cointelpro, economic discrimination against Black Americans, legal segregation, Jim Crow laws, the prison industrial complex, etc. The CIA was responsible for pumping heroin and crack cocaine into poor Black communities and much more. “Black Americans fought and died in all USA wars. We took the first bullet in the Revolutionary War. Slave labor built the White House. We picked the cotton that made America an economic superpower. We gave America the civil rights movement. Black Americans deserve reparations,” states Mr. Jenkins. To learn more about the Deon D. Jenkins presidential campaign visit www.reparationsforpresident.com.”
