[New Music] Deno ft. #OFB [Bandokay and Double Lz] – Circles

It all started in 2016, when a friend asked Deno Michael Mebrahitu aka Deno, to freestyle and sing afterchool. When the video was posted on Snapchat, Deno quickly gained thousands of followers, leading to recognition from Stormzy, and a collaboration in the studio. A few years later, after linking with UK rapper and friend the late Cadet on the hit song Advice, Deno has been killing the scene in South London ever since.

Deno is a young and talented singer, rapper, and actor hailing from South London. We caught up with Deno to lightly discuss his new single Circles ft OFB’s Bandokay and Double Lz.

“The song is a flexing song. I like OFF-WHITE and I like to do what I like, I’m a young boss”. Apart from flexing on the haters, this song is also about young artists bridging the gap, as Deno stated, “when I said that part about ‘from South London to Tottenham, anywhere wit not curfew’ its a Link up song. I’m from South London and we have a lot of artists in Tottenham. In this song, its three young artist from the, South to the North, having fun, and doing what we like.”

Its probably in your best interest to be on the lookout for Deno as he continues to pave a lane for himself in the music industry, we expect some heavy tunes in the future. When asked what was in the works moving forward, Deno stated “I took a break from my mixtape…but I have a project coming at the end of this year or early next year. I have some American features, young American features on the project, so expect some good music on the way.”
